I am so Sorry guys

I have not been able to post anything or even reply to any of ur comments because I was on a break. I have guests (cousins) at my place and we r on a road trip. This has really cheered me up a bit. I have mailed google and I am doing the needful towards the guy. I havent got any reply from him yet. Through some friends I got an email address (guess it is his email..) and phone number.I have not yet contacted him... I will be doing that after this weekend, when I am back from my road trip. At present I am in grand canyon and its raining. I will be updating you with more progress on this.

Thank u all for ur support. I guess I needed this break from all that is happening and also from the blogging. I am happy to be with family and enjoy. Atleast for sometime I tension and depression is gone.

I am devastated... Someone please help and guide me.!

I have been hearing about this plagarism for quite some time now. I think now its my turn.
God know from how long this guy is using my content. But he is having everything in his blog... including my first post.

Some person has made a blog with all my content. Everything including my post,labels and pictures and user comments are there in that site...

He made a site just like how I have at blogger.com..... chutkibharpyar(dot)mobiforumz(dot)com

and it says all this is posted by someone named Hidayath.

I was just talking about all this plagarism to my husband and I un intentionally searched for "chutki bhar pyar" on google search. The first few pages that poped up where familiar to me or were from my site.The seventh link that came up really shocked me. I was wondering what is this new thing. I never registered here? And it says guide to cooking mehandi and wo? I just click on it to see what is this thing all about. I really didnt remember registering in anything like this. When I opened the page I was devastated. It is a word by word copy of my blog. Including the comment u all left.

I dunno how he cud do this. But he even has my labels. Its my site there... with the same title... just that he changed the subtitle... cooking with love to something else...hmm


I am all confused how he cud do this. He even has my introduction post that I posted in july 2007.He has copied my site word by word.I have left a message to him asking him to remove my content. But its still under moderation and he hasnt accepted it yet. In the site I couldnt find anyway I can contact him. Can anyone guide me what I can do about this? Please help me out. He has put ads by google on my content. I really dont approve to that. I dont want anyone using my content new or old.

He has stated that this is an example page. But, I was never contacted or asked permision to use my page as an example....worst when he is earning with that page. How can he just post all my content and put it up there to promote his product? I guess till this time he was even getting all my updates as soon as I used to post it. It used to come on his site too. I am just so confused and I dunno how to stop this or confront this person.

Can google do something about this?.. Someone please help me.

Something so amusing happened last week. The thing is Shanti's hubby and my hubby work in the same office and we met through a common friend. I didnt know that its the same Shanti. Later yesterday when I was talking to her I asked her for her blog address (when we met for the first time she reffered to me that she has a blog.) When I saw her blog I was so shocked...happily shocked. I have visited this blog so many times but never knew it was her blog hehehe... It is funny. Well I am happy that I met such a nice cook like her and the best thing is we stay nearby...:D

Plagarism....Oh my God..!

I came across this blogpost in Indira's blog about Inji pennu and the plagarism of her blog post, poems and pictures by some website named Kerals.com(supposed to be a very very huge name in malayalam websites...) OMG... its so scary. The first thing that came to my mind is...?? Can this Happen to me? This month and may... has been amazing for me. 4. ..............Natue and weather inspires me. I love cooking when its raining heavily...The smell of the first rain inspires me to make a nice hot soup or maybe some nice spicy pakodas.. yummmm! It is also a very nice inspiration for me for my painting...I love painting the scenery of the rain drenched trees and rivers.hmmm

Awards... How I love them.... It feels so good to know that someone really likes u and appreciates ur efforts... Hmm.... I simply love awards... and I am so thankful to everyone who passed on their awards to me.

This post was pending from a long time... I really deserve the lazy blogger award.... coz I have nearly 17 recipes with snaps...which I havent yet posted....hmmmm. Ask me y???... and I will say its bore to write down recipes....hmmmm. Me and my laziness..... yawwwnn. In the past few days.... Too many things are happeneing with me... I am so busy yet I am not doing anything productive... not even blogging. Hmmm... I guess its a dull phase for me... But there are 2 things that really cheered me up in my dull phase...

1) One is a warm and lovely "Chatterbox" award which my cute friend and fellow chatterbox Madhavi passed it on to me... Yippe so from today I am royally and legally crowned as a

Chatterbox.

I have always been one from my childhood... I love talking. I can talk non stop for hours and I wont even get tired.. My hubby says maybe my mom gave me some hyperactive serum when I was a kid and "Uska effect abhi tak nahi gaya hai " - that effect hasnt gone yet. hehehehhe......well who cares ;) When in a group I can never keep quite... I dunno if its right or wrong... but I enjoy chatting and I am proud to be a "Chatterbox"... Thank u so much Madhavi for the award... This is an appeal on behalf of a group of food bloggers who are friends of Briana Brownlow @ Figs With Bri.

Bri was diagnosed with breast cancer two and half years ago. A mastectomy, chemotherapy and two years of relatively good health later, the cancer is back. It has metastasized to other parts of her body. At the age of 15, Bri lost her 41-year old mother to the disease. Now, she’s waging her own war against breast cancer. More about it here.

She is going through intensive chemo and other treatments and needs to focus single-mindedly on healing and finding what treatment works best for her. Her health insurance, unfortunately, does not cover holistic alternatives which she would like to try. Bri and her husband Marc have enough on their plates right now in addition to worrying about her medical bills.

The team organising the JUNE edition of CLICK at Jugalbandi has organised a fundraiser to help Bri and her family meet her out-of-pocket medical costs for ONE YEAR.

CLICK is a monthly theme-based photography contest hosted by Jugalbandi. This month’s theme is: YELLOW for Bri

Yellow is the colour of hope. Through the work of the LiveStrong Foundation, it has also come to signify the fight against cancer.

The entries can be viewed HERE. The deadline for entries is June 30, 2008. The fundraiser will extend until July 15, 2008.

The target amount is 12,000 U.S. dollars. We appeal to our fellow bloggers and readers to help us achieve this. Bri deserves a chance to explore all options, even if her insurance company thinks otherwise.

Kutcchi Dabeli and an Award!!

Kutchi Dabeli is my favourite Street side food. I remember when I was in 12th grade there used be be this thela (stall ) outside our classes....which used to sell tasty kutchi dabeli. Ohh how we used to love it. I rarely use to go back home without having 1 dabeli I was so crazy about it. After marriage I was even more delighted when I got to know that my hubby was also crazy about dabeli. So, I thought i should try my hand and make this dish and ofcourse impress my hubby... uhhh uhmm I can say I did succeed....... Thanks to the lovely recipe that my friend Hetal forwarded to me. I have used the same recipe...but I did make some few changes according to our taste.

Thank you Hetal for sharing this lovely recipe with me. The dabeli without a typical dabeli masala. We dont get Dabeli masala here and I never tried making this dish mainly becoz of the same reason.when Hetal told me that she is gonna make dabeli without the masala....I was a bit skeptical about the recipe... thinking if it would taste just like the one we get back home. But I should agree that it turned out amazing. Just so yummy.! Thank u once again Hetu. You need :

Buns / paav - 5

Potatoes - 4 boiled and mashed

Onion - 1 finely chopped

Roasted Spicy peanuts - 1/2 cup

Tamarind Chutney - 3 tbsp

Red chilli powder - 1 1/2 tsp

Coriander & jeera powder - 1 tbsp

Garam Masala - 2 tsp

Hing /Asafoetida - a pinch (optional)

Salt to taste

Sugar - 2 tsp

Butter

The Dabeli filling

To serve your Dabeli :

Spicy roasted Peanuts - 1/4 cup

Pomegranate seeds - 2 tbsp (Frozen or Fresh)

Nylon sev - 1/2 cup

Tamarind chutney - 1 tbsp

Garlic chutney - 1/2 cup (see recipe below)

Onions - 1 cup finely chopped

Butter - 1 tbsp

Method :

Firstly boil, peel and mash the potatoes.

Next, prepare for the Garlic chutney, and the Instant Tamarind chutney.

For the Garlic chutney :

Garlic - 9-8 pods chopped

Dried red chiilies : 6-7 soaked for 10 minutes in some water

Olive oil - 2 tsp

Salt to taste

Method : Put all the above ingredients in a blender and blend into a smooth paste using some water. You may use the water u used to soak ur chilli. Dont make ur chutney very watery.

For the tamarind chutney :

Tamarind Concentrate - 1 tbsp

Sugar - 1/2 tbsp

water

Method : Dissolve the concentrate in around 1 cup of water and mix well. Add sugar to it and heat on stove top or in microwave for around 6-7 minutes or until it becomes a bit thick. Your Instant tamarind chutney is ready.

So once ur chutneys are ready we are all set to make our lovely dabelis. In a pan take some butter and add asafoetida and chopped onions to it and saute well for 6-7 minutes.Add the turmeric powder, garam masala, Coriander-jeera powder, sugar, salt and red chilli powder and saute for 2 mins.Now , add the mashed potatoes, peanuts and mix well. Add the tamarind chutney and around 1/3 cup of water. let it cook on medium flame for around 10 mins and then remove from flame. Your dabeli filling is ready.

Now to serve it, butter the buns and roast them on a hot griddle/ tava. Apply some garlic chutney to the base piece of the bun. Now spread the dabeli filling on the base bun. Garnish with Spicy peanuts, chopped onions and some nylon sev. Cover it with the top piece of the bun and serve it garnishing with some more sev and some fresh chopped coriander.

Serve hot as an evening snack.... or even as a light lunch or dinner. Bet u cant stop with one...!

I am Tagged...!


Well I am tagged here by my schoolmate and a fellow blogger friend Aditi. I was tagged to write 10 things I hate.... Hmmmmm its very difficult... Coz when u have to list down things u hate... thats when u dont remember anything..... hehehehehehehehe.....Check it out!



1. Being All alone at home : I really hate being left alone... I have always had someone around me. My grandparents have been with me throughout. I stayed all alone at home for 2 weeks here when my hubby went out of the country and I really hated it.

2. Being Criticised or teased again and again about one things I did : I hate it. First time I like to take in any criticism but if someone just keeps bringing it back again and again, I really hate it a lot... :P

3. Dishonesty : I just hate dishonest people.

4. Headaches : I just hate these stupid painful headaches.

5. Himesh Reshamiya - Ohh how I hate this guy. He is really irritating and I dunno wt he thinks about himself.... Ohh I can't stand him....

6. Hate being seperated from my mom : I hate death.... which takes away our loved ones....

7. Results.....I am more scared of the results than appearing an exam!

8. Hate..it when I am taken for granted.

9. I have people who show attitude.... I hate Kareena kapoor for that...I can't stand her...

10. Last but least as this is a food blog.... I have to refer some food type or item I dont like...
I generally eat everything... But I dont like Karela... I hate it...:P I like if it is roasted well and the bitterness completely goes off. Iam choosy when it comes to Karela...:)

Yes... I have kind of vanished from the blogsphere for the past week and maybe this will continue for another week or so.....Iam all tied up with work.... phew.... but.. but... Two More Yummy Awards.......Geee Thanxz

I was so surprised, happy and overwhelmed.........:D this week I recieved 2 more yummy blog awards and I am so excited about it... Thanx Swati and Shri for the award. I really appreciate it and it really made my day.

Thanx Shri and Swati once again for admiring my blog and my effort. This really means a lot to me...:)

The rules require me to quote my favorite yummy-licious dessert(s) that I have ever prepared/eaten. A lovely video I came Across You Tube!

A female called Archana who speaks in the Hasya kavi sammela on women who come here on H4. Its hillarious. I just wanted to share with all of you. Hope you like it. Do comment on it..:)

Archana is a popular poetess, singer and artiste who resides in the bay area.
Archana is a software engineer -a front end web developerby profession. She has worked as a consultant for companies and is presently, she is working for Tacit Software.She worked as a credentialed public school teacher in Fremont Unified school district for 4 years. She also was a eigth grade science teacher with Campbell Union school distrcit for one year. Archana volunteers to teach Hindi at various institutes in the bay area like I.C.C. (India Community center), Vidyabharti etc.

She presents this poetry "Naukri is tokeri" in the bay area Hasya Kavi Sammelan in April 2007. This poetry is a comedy depicting her experiences with the many jobs she tried, as an immigrant woman, trying to balance her job and family. Its really very funny and so humorous. When I came across this is just wanted to share it with you all. Hope u Enjoy it as much i did...:)

Moong dal dosa & an Award

This dosa is an instant choice when I feel like eating the lovely tasting Adai. This is made of moong dal which takes very less time to soak compared to the traditional adai, which is made by soaking rice, toor daal and chana daal overnight......and hence can be made without any prior prepaprations.It tastes no less than the Adai....Enjoy this lovely recipe next time, when u dont have much time in hand.

You need :

Washed moong dal ( yellow lentils) - 1 cup
Green Chillies - 3
Fresh Coriander - 1 cup
Jeera (Cumin seeds) - 2 tsp
Ginger finely chopped - 3 tsp
Oil for shallow frying


Method :
Soak the washed moong dal for 1 to 2 hrs. Once they r soaked well...put them in a blender. Add in the other ingredients except the oil and make into an almost fine paste. Leaving it a bit coarse gives nice texture to the dosa. Once ur batter is ready, Ur ready to make ur dosas.

Heat ur tava or gridle well and apply a sppon oil to it orelse u may also spray oil to the gridle. Now, put on ladle full of dosa batter on the tava and spread it into a big circle. Pour oil along the edges and turn over once one side is cooked. Cook it just like a normal dosa till it is golden brown in colour. Enjoy ur lovely moong daal dosa. This dosa tastes best with Allam Chutney (ginger chutney).

Serve hot with any chutney.enjoy!

10) FUTURE CHILDS NAME? : Hmm, will leave for the elders to decide.... my dad and my amma-appa (MIL & FIL).

By lords grace I think at present we have lots compared to so many others. So I would wish that I should be able to live a life full of love, joy and a comfortable life that I am living right now.

12) DO U DRIVE FAST? Iam still on instructional permit. But I do drive almost everyday...ofcourse under the guidance of my hubby.... and yeah I get lotsa shoutings (often)...Yet havent gone out of control though....(I am fast under speed limits :D) .....wait till I get my license ....heheheheh...

13) DO U SLEEP WITH A STUFFED ANIMAL? I used to until my hubby fought with it and threw it away in a corner in our living room.... Hmmm... I miss u doggy.....:(

15) WHAT WAS YOUR FIRST CAR? Well I never had a car of my own.... If I can call my hubby's car as mine.. then its a Nissan Maxima..... Would want to own a Beamer...:D ..If only desires were fullfilled that easily.... hmm :P

16) FAVOURITE DRINK? Mango Frooti...fresh and Juicy, Home squeezed fresh orange juice.

I was so excited to see my FIRST award given to me by my dear blogger friend Madhavi. The "Yum Blog Award"...woooooooow!!!! I really cant believe it....Thank you sooo much Madhavi for such a lovely award and all the appreciations...U really made my day!...
